The high temperature reached 90 degrees in the River City today, making it the first time we’ve reached that point so far in 2012. We didn’t set a record, but came within 3 degrees of the record high of 93 set in 1976. The “normal” high temperature during the hottest part of the year in Richmond (July 1st-24th) is 90 degrees, putting today’s warmth in perspective. Hopefully this isn’t a precursor to the summer ahead of us! -Zach
