HENRICO, Va. (WTVR) – Virginia State Police responded to a single-car accident on I-295 just south of I-95 in Henrico County just before 9 a.m. Friday.
Police said that the driver of a 2003 Jeep Cherokee ran off the right side of the road, and then over corrected causing the vehicle to overturn. The car finally came to a stop on the right side of the road.
The driver was a 24 year-old female who police say was not wearing her seat belt. She suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to VCU Medical Center.
The crash is under investigation.
