Reynolds Metal building catches fire during demolition

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - This morning the Richmond Fire Department responded to a building fire on the 600 block of Bainbridge St. The building was being demolished when a fire broke out.

According to Lt. Robert Hagaman, materials at the aluminum plant ignited but no cause has been determined. The fire is still burning but it is under control with large amounts of smoke still visible at the scene.

There were no reported injuries and officials have not released a cause of the fire at this time.
