RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Several buildings were evacuated because of a fire in a downtown Richmond building Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said crews were called out around 1:30 p.m. to a building in the 1300 block of East Main Street.
Main Street was closed while crews conducted their investigation.
Firefighters said debris that caught fire in a nearby parking garage was likely responsible for the blaze.
