RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A Northern Virginia leader will officially announce plans to run for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia later this week. Prince William County Chairman Corey Stewart will make the announcement Wednesday morning at Potomac Town Place in Woodbridge.
According to Stewart’s website, Stewart is an international trade attorney who lives in Woodbridge with his wife and two children.
Stewart would be the first person to announce their candidacy for the office of Lieutenant Governor. The election will be in November 2013.
