VCU police need help after student assault

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Virginia Commonwealth University Police  are asking for the public’s help to find six persons of interest in connection with a VCU student’s assault

Police said the student was assaulted outside of the Gladding Residence Center around 3 a.m. on March 25.

Police described one of the males involved in the assault as a heavyset black male, at the time wearing a blue and white striped shirt and a white fisherman’s hat. Another was described as a black male, who was wearing a grey shirt with two long necklaces.

However, cops have a security camera image of the men walking nearby.
