RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A Freeze Watch is in effect for expected colder temperatures Friday night into Saturday morning in northwestern parts of Virginia. A cold front moved through the Commonwealth overnight, and northeast winds will keep reinforcing this drier, colder air-mass in the region, By Friday night, skies will be completely clear with light winds, allowing for optimum cooling conditions. Locations in the Watch include: Augusta, VA; Page, VA; Rockingham, VA; Shenandoah, VA; Waynesboro City, VA.
The rest of central Virginia (not included in the Watch) may see some patchy frost when lows dip into the mid to upper 30s Saturday early morning.
