SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. (WTVR) – The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office arrested a man accused of raping two masseuses, according to a press release from Spotsylvania Sheriff’s  Captain Mike Harvey.

Thomas Xavier Stone, 20, of Spotsylvania is charged with abduction, rape, robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission in connection with two recent incidents.

Harvey said on March 31and April 1, 2012 Spotsylvania Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Summerset subdivision for reports of suspicious activity at two empty homes. In both case, Harvey said, it was reported that a man had held a victim at gunpoint while attempting to rob and sexually assault them. In both cases the victims were called to the homes to perform a massage on the suspect.

While responding to the second incident, on Redground Rd., deputies said they saw the suspect on the home’s back porch. Deputies said the man ignored their commands to show his hands and instead ran. The deputy deployed his police dog to chase the suspect, later identified as Stone. Stone had to be treated for his wounds.

Stone is being held under no bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
