PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR)--A church service in the 1100 block of Farmer Street in Petersburg was disrupted tonight by the sound of gunfire.
When police arrived on the scene they found a victim who suffered gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a nearby Southside Memorial Regional hospital, where he died.
Petersburg police confirm that they're working a murder investigation, but are releasing little information.
Police are on the scene canvassing the area for witnesses.
