Two-vehicle collision injures one, damages storefront

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)–A vehicle collision in Shockoe Bottom at 5:30 a.m. left one person injured  and the crash clean-up extended well into the morning.

The vehicles crashed at N. 18th Street and E. Main Street confirmed Captain Hicks with the Richmond Police.

One vehicle actually crashed into the 1800 Bar & Grill, causing minor damage to the storefront. The building is considered a historic landmarks, as noted by the United States Department of the Interior.

Police said that the driver in that vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries.
