RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - In March 2000, drivers in Central Virginia were upset when gas prices hit $1.50 a gallon. Twelve year later we're paying nearing $4.00 a gallon.
My favorite line in this piece comes courtesy the second woman in the story, identified as Hart Barnes, who said, "Once it [gas prices] reach $2, people are going to have to get their grandpa and grandma's horse and buggy."
I wonder what she's driving now...
