Almost 13 years since Carnie Wilson underwent weight-loss surgery, the singer has gone under the knife once again.
Wilson confirmed to People that she had Lap-Band surgery in January.
The 43-year-old told People that the surgery, which aids weight loss by reducing the amount of food your stomach can hold, has already helped her lose 30 lbs.
“It was the right decision for me and I’m doing really well so far,” she said.
Wilson, whose weight issues were once mocked by the late Chris Farley on “Saturday Night Live,” is preparing to release a new album with Wilson Phillips. “Dedicated” drops on April 3, days before the band’s reality show, “Wilson Phillips: Still Holding On,” premieres on the TV Guide Network on April 8.
