Thousands of union members converged on Wisconsin’s state capitol to protest the state's collective bargaining law.

It's been a year since senate Republicans passed the bill and Governor Scott Walker signed it.

During a massive rally in Madison Saturday, Democratic state senator Jen Shilling reflected on Republicans pushing through Governor Walker’s collective bargaining bill this time last year.

"The senate Republicans in a matter of minutes eliminated 50 years of worker rights with no debate."

One year later thousands of people against the law and the Governor continued showing their anger. Saturdays Reclaim Wisconsin march was organized by the AFL-CIO.

One protestor from Milwaukee said the discontent has continued because of Walker’s policies.

"Giving tax breaks to the wealthy at the expense of the middle class is wrong."

While nearly everyone at the march wants Walker out, one man stood his ground in support of the governor.

"I’m here today because i am proud of Scott Walker I am part of the silent majority. But I’m not going to be silent."

With a possible recall on the horizon, Shilling hinting things will look very different on this day this time next year.

"I sense change in the air and I’m not talking spring."
