DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR)- Virginia State Police are on scene Saturday afternoon on Rt. 460 in Dinwiddie County investigating a fatal motorcycle accident.
Sgt. Thomas Molnar with VSP tells us that the single vehicle accident happened around 11:00 a.m. Saturday on Cox Rd. (U.S. 460) south of Route 625 Wells Rd. The driver died in the wreck.
UPDATE: VSP has identified the driver as Carter H. Love Jr., 70, of Hampton, Va. Love was wearing a helmet, and died at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation, but more information is expected to be released later this weekend.
