RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - The skeletal remains discovered near Highland Park on December 14, 2011 do not belong to missing Henrico woman Arianna “Peaches” Davis.

Lawrence Ford, Arianna’s stepfather told CBS 6’s Jon Burkett, that the official word from Henrico detectives was given to them Thursday night.

“The bones belong to a male and they (detectives) said they would call us with any new developments and that Arianna’s case is still active,” Ford said.

Peaches disappeared on April 30, 2010.

Police suspect foul play but don’t have a lot of information to work with other than the fact that Peaches was last seen at a nearby convenience store off Koch Street.

While learning the news that the bones didn’t belong to Peaches; Lawrence Ford also told  CBS 6 he was recently robbed in Richmond where he delivers papers.

“Seems like the problems pile up on me, “ he said. “I just got to keep on moving and hope that God will help me through all of this.”
