HENRICO COUNTY, VA (WTVR)- Louis Marrow is hoping 2012 will be peaceful for his family and be the year that questions are answered about the murder mystery of his wife Bonnie.
Bonnie Marrow was murdered on her way to work on December 22nd, 2011.
She suffered a gunshot wound.
Police found her slumped over the wheel of her Acura on 25th street in the city’s East End.
There’s a theory that Bonnie may have stopped by Oakwood Cemetery to visit her son's gravesite prior to driving into work.
Marrow, a nurse at VCU Medical center, spent her whole adult life taking care of others.
Louis Marrow said his wife of eight years didn’t have any enemies.
“I didn’t believe it when they told me she had been shot. I was in shock. Bonnie was the type of person that would help anybody. Why would someone shoot her? She caused no grief,” he said.
In the days that followed her death, Richmond Police set up an information road block in the area.
They handed out flyers hoping it would make someone remember hearing or seeing something suspicious.
So far no luck.
