GOOCHLAND, VA (WTVR)- The Goochland County Board of Supervisors voted 3-2, allowing the Benedictine Preparatory School in Richmond to relocate to the county.

The all-boys, Catholic school is looking to relocate to expand from its limited space in Richmond.

That's what worries many Goochland residents who spoke before Tuesday night's vote. The debate focused on concerns over the county's infrastructure, water supply to roads, and religion.

Goochland resident, David Ligon, tells CBS 6, he fears the school's growth would burden the county's infrastructure.

Benedictine school leaders and students presented their case, showing the school would be self-sufficient and sustaining.
