RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The Ellen’s Hope Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon will take place on Thursday, October 20 at the Commonwealth Club, beginning at noon.
A reception and silent auction will begin at 11 a.m. The Luncheon is an educational and fundraising event for the Ellen Shaw de Paredes Breast Cancer Foundation.
Actress, producer, and breast cancer survivor Liza Vann will present “Good Decision-Making: It’s Not Just for Breakfast Anymore.” Dr. Ellen Paredes will also be speaking about breast cancer awareness.
Funds raised from the luncheon will support the Foundation’s Fellowship in Breast Imaging program and the Foundation’s Free Mammography Outreach Program which provides free mammograms for uninsured women in Central Virginia.
Tickets to the event are $50 per person and can only be reserved in advance by calling the Paredes Breast Cancer Foundation at 804-523-3209. Sponsorships for the luncheon are also available, starting at $500.
