The Centers for Disease Control said Monday that the number of people infected with meningitis related to steroid injections has gone from 91 to 105.
The total number of cases has also grown to 64 people in nine states, the CDC said. That is 17 more cases and two more states than the day before.
A rare and deadly outbreak of meningitis has Virginia health officials on alert.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed at least one person has died in Virginia from a non-contagious form of meningitis.
