The Pentagon managed to get a little bit of a reprieve for its workers by cutting furloughs to 14 days from its originally-planned 22 days.
“I think it’s unfair,” Dabney said. “If I’ve got to lose 22 days, is Congress losing 22 days?”
Federal workers could start facing furloughs as early as April, according to federal agencies trying to prepare for the worst.
