Daniel Harmon-Wright is accused of killing a woman during a traffic stop last year.
Investigators said Harmon-Wright shot at Patricia Cook seven times in a church parking lot back in February.
Officials with the Culpeper Police Department said their internal investigation into the shooting death of 54-year-old Patricia Cook has been completed.
Officer Daniel Harmon-Wright was in court Friday morning.
Additionally, the officer’s 55-year-old mother is facing charges after she tried to purge her son’s negative record.
