The country music star will be performing a benefit concert for earthquake-damaged Louisa County schools.
Capitol Records Nashville just announced that 3,000 free tickets will be released on Wed., April 18 for the “Alan Jackson: Music for Mineral” concert.
Lots of community feedback about what many thought would be a free concert. Tickets have now gone on sale, and many are reacting.
Mineral’s mayor said not all of the 6,000 available tickets will be free. The county will sell some of them to raise money.
“The victory over the larger cities has been a great moral boost for us,” said Vice-Mayor Bernice Wilson-Kube.
