    Hermitage’s running back Jordan Hall rushed for 263 yards and four touchdowns as the Panthers defeated Douglas Freeman 41-7 for their 9th straight win overall. Hall got the scoring started on the Panthers’ first possession of the game as he finished a five play drive with a one yard touchdown.  Hall would add a four yard and 12 yard touchdown before halftime as Hermitage led 21-0 at the break.     The Virginia Cavaliers finished their October homestand 0-3 after a crushing 32-25 lost to 5th ranked Louisville. JMU is still undefeated in the CAA by beating Rhode Island 84-7 at the Dukes Homecoming. William and Mary lost at home to Maine 35-28 to drop to 1-4 in the CAA.     The Hermitage Panthers, ranked 3rd in the latest CBS 6/Fox Sports 910 poll got over 200 yards in total offense from quarterback Woody Winborn and three touchdowns from running back Jordan Hall as they won their eighth in a row 42-22 over Glen Allen.     On Saturday night’s sportscast, the Richmond Spiders won their 5th in a row 35-7 over Elon.  Redshirt freshman Deontez Thompson recorded his second 100 yard plus game this season with 114 yards on 16 carries and two touchdowns; one rushing and one receiving.     HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Highland Springs quarterback Juwan Carter threw for two and rushed for two touchdowns as the 2nd ranked Springers defeated Henrico 56-20 for their 16th straight win in the series.     Spiders get shutout win at Homecoming over Villanova

    The Richmond Spiders will get a clear understanding of where they stand in the CAA in the next three games.  They past the first test on Homecoming Saturday with a 23-0 win over Villanova.     Hokies and Cavs stumble in the ACC

    Virginia Tech may not want to see the Carrier Dome any more.  The Hokies lost at Syracuse 31-17 marking the 5th time that Tech lost at the Dome as a ranked team.  The loss also snapped the Hokies three game winning streak and gave them their first defeat in conference.
