Former Virginia Tech and current Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor believes a 2nd year with the team could mean a trip to the playoffs for the first time since the 1999 season. Former Richmond Spider and current San Francisco running back Kendall Gaskins hopes a new coach means a new start for him.

    Ariya Jutanugarn wins the Kingsmill Championship

    Thailand’s Ariya Jutanugarn won her first Kingsmill Championship by one stroke over Australian Su Oh.  Jutanugarn finished her final round -4 under 67 with a par putt on 18 to hold off Oh and complete her fourth straight round in the 60’s to finish at 14 under par.  It was her second straight win on the tour.

    Flying Squirrels ends streak, Michael Robinson hosts football camp

    In Saturday night’s Feel Good Sportscast, the Flying Squirrels ended a 14 game losing streak 9-0 over Erie.   Team President “Parney” said that he wouldn’t shower or change out of the team’s uniform until the streak was snapped. JMU and Longwood advanced to the Harrisonburg Regional Final in Women’s Softball.
