PETERSBURG, Va. -- Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a man near a Petersburg church.
Officers were called to the 800 block of West Washington Street in Petersburg, near St Johns Episcopal Church, just after 10 p.m. Monday.
There they found 49-year-old Antonio C. Goode, of Petersburg, dead. He had been shot multiple times, police said.
Police asked anyone with information about the crime to call Petersburg/Dinwiddie Crime Solvers at 804-861-1212.
Police have not yet released information about a suspect nor motive in the shooting.
