HENRICO, Va. – Henrico Police responded to the 500 block of Wales Drive in Highland Springs for the report of a possible mental health situation in a neighborhood. The initial call was received Monday afternoon by emergency communication as a residential alarm.
Upon arrival, it appeared a firearm violation had occurred, police said. A male was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation.
No injuries occurred. No other persons are expected to be involved.
Charges are pending, according to police.
The incident has ended.
