FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — Police are looking for a second suspect in what they described as a “crime spree” in Alexandria that started around 10 p.m. on Saturday night.

The first suspect, Darrius Berry, 24, is charged with robbery, abduction for pecuniary benefit, felony speed to elude, felony hit-and-run, driving without a license, and driving without insurance, WDCW reported.

Berry and the other suspect are accused of robbing a Verizon store in the 6100 block of Little River Turnpike by forcing employees into a back room, then stealing dozens of phones before leaving.

The suspects apparently fled in a car and crashed into another car and then into a creek bed. Police arrested Berry, who they say was the driver, on the scene, but the other suspect ran from the scene. They believe that he went to a shopping center and stole a car from a woman who was leaving work.

The woman’s car is still missing; it’s a white 2006 Toyota Sienna with Virginia plates VSJ-8268. The other suspect is described as a black man who’s around 6 feet tall and between 215 and 230 pounds.

Anyone with information on the incidents can contact police at 703-691-2131.
