RICHMOND, Va. --Christmas came early for some folks living in Richmond's Creighton Court public housing neighborhood Saturday morning.
Cedar Street Baptist Church of God hosted the sixth annual Christmas at Creighton Day of Fun.
The church organizes the event, which provides presents, clothing, shoes and food to folks in need.

Organizers said the event grows every year and allows them to be a blessing for those in need.
