A Family Country Christmas – The Dinwiddie County Christmas Parade December 16, 1:00pm – 2:30pm Dinwiddie County Courthouse Area Courthouse Road, Dinwiddie, Virginia.
Come see fire trucks, horses, floats, and hear the holiday music as Dinwiddie County’s Christmas parade winds its way along Courthouse Road to Dinwiddie Courthouse. Santa will be in the parade too! It is a wonderful family tradition, so bundle up, bring some snacks and enjoy. The parade leaves the Dinwiddie Middle School at 1:00 PM and turns onto Courthouse Road toward Dinwiddie. RAIN DATE IS Sunday, December 17 at 2:00 PM. Free and open to the public.
Celebrate the Season Indoor Bazaar in Dinwiddie, December 16, 11:00am – 4:00pm at Dinwiddie Elementary School, 13811 Boydton Plank Road, Dinwiddie, Virginia.
A Christmas Parade Day, great family day and shopping opportunities There will be lots of activities for the children, including: games, a petting zoo and pony rides, artisan vendors with handcrafted items, food vendors and wonderful homemade baked goods – everything you will need before grabbing that special spot for parade watching! The Trees of Christmas at Petersburg Area Art League, Petersburg Area Art League, 7 East Old Street
This is the opening of the display of Christmas trees, all decorated differently by groups and organizations throughout the region. See the artistic and creative approaches used to decorate the trees . The Trees of Christmas will remain in the Art League through the holidays until January 1. You judge the best tree by dropping a donation in the bucket next to your favorite. The Art League is open from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Wednesdays – Fridays and from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturdays. FREE.
