CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – Police are looking for a suspect after an attempted armed robbery at a Subway restaurant in Chesterfield County Tuesday night.
The attempted robbery happened at the restaurant, located in the 10000 block of Midlothian Turnpike.
Police said the suspect, armed with a handgun, demanded cash from a store employee. The suspect was unable to get any money and fled the scene.
There were no injuries during the attempted robbery.
Investigators have set a perimeter and K-9 units are on scene as they search for a suspect.
The suspect has been identified as a black male, mid 20’s, average height and weight, wearing dark jacket over a light colored hoodie, and light colored pants.
