CHESTERFIELD, Va. -- Chesterfield Police are looking for the man they said stole cell phones from two different people, using the popular app known as "Offer Up."

One of those robberies happened Nov. 14 and the other happened the very next day.

Chesterfield County police said the suspect responded to ads on the app which helps people buy and sell used items they no longer want.

When he showed up to meet the victims, he robbed them of their cell phones and cash.

Chesterfield County police reminded citizens that they have special parking spots reserved at the courthouse where you can meet someone if you are trying to sell or buy something online.

The spots are marked with blue paint and are located right outside the building.

Many local police and sheriff's offices also have spots outside of their buildings where you can safely meet people to buy or sell items, and which are monitored by surveillance cameras.

As for the suspect in these robberies, Chesterfield County police are still looking for him.

If you recognize him, call Crime Solvers at 748-0660.
