RICHMOND, Va. — Police released photos of a man wanted for robbing a West Broad Street bank.
The man, described by police as a white male with brown hair and short beard stubble, robbed the Wells Fargo on West Broad Street and Staples Mill Road Friday afternoon.
“Officers were told the suspect approached the teller, stated he had a weapon then demanded money. The teller complied and gave the suspect money from a coin box. The suspect then left the scene on foot in an unknown direction,” a Richmond Police spokesperson said. “He is approximately 40 to 50 years old, 5’5” tall, and 180 pounds. At the time he was wearing a beige jacket.”
