Henrico teens charged in Hanover car thefts

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — Three teenagers were arrested and charged with stealing vehicles in Mechanicsville, according to the Hanover Sheriff’s Office.

Shawn Fleming, 18, of Henrico, Joshua Haskins, 19, of Henrico, and Tyree Davis, 19, of Sandston, were all been charged with Grand Larceny.

“On Thursday, November 2, 2017, deputies responded to the 7100 block of Autumn Ridge Lane for a reported stolen vehicle. A Toyota van had been stolen from the driveway of the residence. While investigating this incident, the vehicle was located in the Oakley Hill subdivision. This subdivision is located next to Autumn Ridge,” Hanover Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt Jim Cooper said. “Deputies also responded to another residence in the 7100 block of Autumn Ridge Lane for another stolen vehicle. Also, several unlocked vehicles in the Autumn Ridge and Oakley Hill subdivisions were rummaged through; however, no property was stolen.”
