HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — A stretch of Parham Road south is closed near Derbyshire Roads due to an overnight car crash, according to Henrico Police.
“The lanes are closed while Verizon crews complete emergency repairs to downed communications lines, the result of an overnight traffic crash,” Henrico Police Lt. Albert Merz said. “Henrico Police are asking all motorists to avoid this area as heavy traffic backups exist throughout the immediate area. This includes backups at the intersection of Parham Rd. and Patterson Ave. Henrico Police urges motorist to use the Huguenot Bridge and I-288 as alternate travel routes.”
The road closure is expected to last through the morning commute.
