RICHMOND, Va. -- Do you floss? Do you rinse? Do you brush your teeth at least two times a day? If not, now is the time to start -- because Nikki-Dee is a dental assistant.
Nikki-Dee served as a dental assistant for Dr. Olivia Hart at Richmond Family Dentistry in Henrico's West End as part of her Nikki-Dee, Can You Be Me segment.
"It was very interesting," Nikki-Dee said about the experience. "I will admit, I was a little nervous. I did not want to mess up."
Nikki-Dee was not quite ready to perform a root canal, so she stuck to handing Dr. Hart dental instruments and holding the light to make sure the doctor could see.
Dr. Hart office called dental assisting is "a fun, ever-changing career." One in which you never quite know what you will get into on any given day.
"It is fast paced, but very rewarding as you are helping to change someone's life by changing their smile."
