RICHMOND, Va. — Meghan is creative, caring and “talkative.” She enjoys doing crafts, playing outside, and gymnastics. She loves playing dress-up, getting her hair done and doing her own nails.

Meghan states she enjoys going to school everyday and her favorite class is Art. She loves anything chocolate and a happy meal from McDonald’s. She also loves her American Girl doll and loves to color. Meghan dislikes scary movies, thunderstorms and the dark.

Meghan is very outgoing and makes friends easily in any setting. She is hoping to find a patient and nurturing family with two parents and be the youngest child in the home.

“Meghan is currently placed in a residential facility waiting for her forever family to help her transition out of her current placement and into an adoptive home.”

In Virginia, we have hundreds of children who are ready for foster to adoption. In other words, these children are ready to find their permanent and loving forever families. As Connecting Hearts –A Deborah J Johnston Charity, celebrates National Adoption Month, our “30 Kids in 30 Days” initiative is to bring awareness to 30 kids or sibling who are available for forever homes, but also to shed light on the other almost 700 children who may not be seen. Our kids are all ages and races, they were put in foster care due to no fault of their own. To learn more and becoming a foster to adoption parent(s) click here.
