Richmond Symphony

Handel's Messiah Friday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 pm, with conductor Erin R. Freeman, the Richmond Symphony Chorus and a cast of soloists. Let It Snow! Saturday, Dec. 3 at 8pm, Sunday, Dec. 4 at 3 pm – featuring conductor Chia-Hsuan Lin, the Richmond Symphony Chorus (Erin R. Freeman, director) and guest vocalist Sarah Kate Walston, and the City Singers Youth Choirs. Concerts at the Carpenter Theatre, Dominion Arts Center. Dancing Toy Drive

Saturday, December 3rd at Rigby’s Jig Dance Studio, 6-9 pm. All the toys collected will benefit Mason's Toy Box. Anyone that donates a new unwrapped toy with a value of at least $10 can take dance lessons for free and stay for a holiday dance the same evening.

People can get a picture and dance with Santa!

  • Starting at 6pm lessons on East Coast Swing, Salsa Casino Rueda, Hustle, Mambo, West Coast Swing, Salsa and Tango
  • General dancing starting at 9pm and a live Latin band playing.
  • Performances from the Salsa Rueda Club of Richmond Virginia
  • A local Puerto Rican folk group dancing Afro-Caribbean music.
  • We are asking people to register for your free dance lessons (optional)
