RICHMOND, Va. — Meet Farrah, a bubbly pre-teen. Farrah loves to listen to music and play all sorts of card games. She laughs when singing, dancing and listening to music. And, she laughs when she is playing with animals.

This little “go-getter” likes being active. She enjoys being in her cheerleading group and is very active in the choir.

Outside, Farrah loves to run, swing and play on any playground equipment. Inside, she is helpful, keeps her room very neat and likes to help in the kitchen with cooking.

Farrah wants people to know that she is “a very nice kid who likes to laugh and have fun.”

She also wants her new family to know that she will need them to “stick with her and help her feel safe in the family.”

Farrah very much wants to be a part of a family.

In Virginia, we have hundreds of children who are ready for foster to adoption. In other words, these children are ready to find their permanent and loving forever families. As Connecting Hearts –A Deborah J Johnston Charity, celebrates National Adoption Month, our “30 Kids in 30 Days” initiative is to bring awareness to 30 kids or sibling who are available for forever homes, but also to shed light on the other almost 700 children who may not be seen. Our kids are all ages and races, they were put in foster care due to no fault of their own. To learn more and becoming a foster to adoption parent(s) click here.
