Spiders lose Capital Cup to W&M and starting quarterback

The Richmond Spiders lost more than the Capital Cup to William and Mary 34-13 but they also lost their starting quarterback Kyle Lauletta to an injury to his right leg.  No word as of now the extent of Lauletta's injury.

James Madison complete an undefeated season in the CAA after a 63-14 win over Elon.

In the ACC, Virginia Tech beat Notre Dame 34-31 in their first visit to South Bend.

UVA lost at Georgia Tech 31-17.  Matt Johns, making his first start of the season, threw three int's in the loss.

In the High School ranks, Collegiate won the VISAA Division I State Title after a 22-14 win over Benedictine.  Their first state title since 2009.
