Goochland, Va - Four different running backs found the end zone as Goochland romped all over Strasburg 35-13 in the second round of the 2A playoffs.
Marcus Burton, Cordell Mattox, Tanner Bradshaw and Calvin Martin all scored rushing touchdowns. Burton had a 60 yard run for a score, part of a 177 yard rushing night. Mattox, Bradshaw and Martin combined for another 110 yards on the ground as the Bulldogs marched out to a 28-7 halftime lead. The Bulldogs had 348 total yards rushing as they get their first postseason win over Strasburg, who had won the previous two playoff meetings, the last coming in 1995.
Goochland (12-0) will take on top seeded Stuarts Draft next week.
