CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — VDOT will close lanes and ramps on Route 288 north and south this weekend to finish a resurfacing project.

The lane closures will take place Saturday, between 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., between Interstate 95 and Courthouse Road in Chesterfield County.

“Crews are taking advantage of warmer temperatures this weekend to complete a $13 million resurfacing project that began earlier this year,” a VDOT spokesperson said. “To avoid delays, drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route.”

Anyone with questions was asked to call VDOT customer service at 800-FOR-ROAD (800-367-7623).
