All clear given after ‘suspicious package’ found in Walmart parking lot

RICHMOND, Va. – All clear has been given after a "suspicious package" was found in the parking lot of a Richmond Walmart Friday evening.

Richmond police said they received a call at 4:42 p.m. for a suspicious package at the Walmart located at 2410 Shelia Lane, near Forest Hill Ave.

CBS 6 photographer Eli Gardiner reports the package is a roller suitcase.

Police secured the area while they waited for bomb squad to arrive and x-ray the suspicious package.

Bomb squad determined the suitcase was not a threat and gave an "all clear."
