Armed robber wearing glove on left hand steals cash from Hopewell 7-11

HOPEWELL, Va. – Police have released images showing an armed robbery at a 7-11 located at 2014 W. Broadway Street.

The reported armed robbery occurred at approximately 2 a.m. Wednesday, Nov.16, 2016.

Police said that a lone offender entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

hopewell-robbery-2The robber fled the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The offender is described as a black male, age 20-30 years old, between 5’8 and 5’11, and weighing around 165-185 pounds.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black hooded sweat shirt, black in color tennis shoes and a blue in color bandana or mask covering the lower portion of his face.

The offender had a dark colored glove on his left hand and displayed the weapon in his right hand.

Nobody was injured during the incident.
