RICHMOND, Va. — CBS 6 asked for your cute, creative and inspirational Halloween costumes and boy did you deliver. Here are some of our favorite submissions.

We have to start with this precious photo of little Xavier dressing up as his hero firefighters. And a big thank you to the men and women of the RFD!

Mom of the Year award goes to Kasie Ballard and her creative costume for her two sons.

My non/verbal autistic son can’t walk long distances and isn’t a fan of costumes due to sensory issues, so we decided to dress up his wheelchair for Halloween! His little brother decided to be a T-Rex so naturally Alex was a Jurassic Park ranger! He had the coolest ride, and we handed out cards about autism awareness while we trick or treated 😍

The cutie pie award goes to Mr. Blake. He’s ready for his close up in his Iron Man costume.

And look at this adorable Little Pocahontas! She gets bonus points because her home’s wall colors tie in with the autumnal theme.

Here’s Little Red Riding Hood and her Big Bad Wolf! The wolf’s pink leash is the perfect accessory.

Somebody fell asleep on the way to trick or treat! Look at this “Candy Hunter from Paula Roddenberry‎. candyhunter

Let’s hope he doesn’t run into the cutest deer we think you’ll ever see.

And this isn’t really a costume, but gets an honorable mention. Alexandra Norwood shared this photo of Mr. Jayjay enjoying his candy. One CBS 6 Facebook friend came up with one word to caption the photo: diabetes.

From everyone at CBS 6 News and WTVR.com, we hope you had a safe and happy Halloween.
