RICHMOND, Va. – This year marks the 29th Annual ‘Scouting for Food Drive,’ and Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Venture Scouts across the Central Virginia area will hit the streets this Saturday to collect food items from across the region to donate to FeedMore. Chief Development Officer at FeedMore Tim McDermott along with Todd Martin from Boy Scouts of America joined us in the studio to share the details on the special drive, and how you and your family can make a significant impact on our neighbors in need. To participate in the drive, simply place your donations of nonperishable, shelf-stable food items on your doorstep by 9:30 a.m. this Saturday, November 5th for the scouts to pick up.
