Eye doctor arrested for touching patient inappropriately

LEESBURG, Va. — A man who was employed as an optometrist has been arrested for inappropriately touching a customer during an eye exam in August.

Joseph Rosana, 35, was employed at the Visionworks on 1607 Village Market Boulevard. He has been charged with misdemeanor sexual battery. He is no longer employed by this business.

The Leesburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help with identifying additional victims related to the Visionworks practice in Leesburg. Anyone who has information regarding this investigation asked to contact Detective Troxell at 703-771-4584 or dtroxell@leesburgva.gov.
