RICHMOND, Va. – The Virginia Thanksgiving Festival is held each year on the first Sunday in November, to commemorate the 1619 landing of Captain John Woodlief and 37 others who sailed from England and landed on Berkley Plantation in Charles City. President of the Festival Graham Woodlief, a descendant of Captain John Woodlief, joined us in the studio to share the details on the 55th Annual Virginia Festival and the rich history behind Berkley Plantation. The 55th Annual Virginia Thanksgiving Festival takes place on Sunday, November 6th at Berkley Plantation in Charles City from 12 am to 4 pm.
