Washington girl found safe after mom took her to ‘be with the Lord,’ officials say

SPOKANE, Wash. – Authorities issued an Amber Alert in Washington Monday for a 6-year-old girl who hasn’t been seen after her mother said she was going to pull her from school to “go be with the Lord.”

Deputies are looking for Danika Packard and her mother, Tracy Packard, after getting a call from Danika’s father reporting the odd behavior at 10:30 a.m. Monday morning.

Tracy Packard is driving a maroon four-door 2002 Buick LeSabre, which was last seen headed east on I-90 around noon. The car has tinted windows, and the license number is 934YVS.

Danika Packard is 4 feet tall, 55 pounds with brown hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink or purple top.

Tracy Packard is 5-foot-6 and 170 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue hoodie with white lettering.
