HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Highland Springs quarterback Juwan Carter threw for two and rushed for two touchdowns as the 2nd ranked Springers defeated Henrico 56-20 for their 16th straight win in the series.
Carter threw for 227 yards along with those four scores as Highland Springs led 35-7 at the half. The Springers added a Orion Twitty blocked punt for a touchdown.
Henrico played without starting quarterback Jalen Jones, who suffered a concussion in last week's game against Atlee. Backup quarterback Theo Chambers had over 100 yards of total offense and a touchdown for the Warriors, who have dropped two straight.
Highland Springs improves to 7-1 on the season while Henrico falls to 5-3.
