Colonial Heights pastor acquitted on child sex charges

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. – A local pastor accused of sex crimes against children was found not guilty of all charges by a Colonial Heights jury Wednesday.

Alan Wayne Little was accused of sexually abusing a child from 1999 to 2013, according to court documents.

He was charged with five counts of aggravated sexual battery and two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child in May of this year.

During his trial, aggravated sexual battery charges were dismissed. He was acquitted of the remainder of the charges on Wednesday.

Little was the head pastor of Colonial Christian Church in Colonial Heights.
